Port Descriptions

The following ports are used by Access Authenticator, configured during installation in the HelpSystems Access Manager and Data Services Configuration Manager.

Access Manager Server

• Shutdown Port (default 3039). The port used when issuing the shutdown command.
• Connector Port (default 3040). The main port used when connecting an Insite browser to the server.

Data Services Server

• Messenger Port (default 9092). The port used by data services messaging.
• Coordinator Port (default 2181). The port used by data services to coordinate data execution.
• Database Port (default 6435). The port of the local data services database.

Service Discovery

• LAN Port (default 8301). The port used for data services LAN communication.
• DNS Port (default 8600). The port used for data services DNS requests.
• WAN Port (default 8302). The port used for data services WAN communication.
• Server Port (default 8300). The port used for communicating with data services.
• HTTP Port (default 8500). The port used for data services HTTP requests.
• Local IP. The IP Address of the local data services system.

Primary Data Services Discovery

• Database Port (default 6432). The port of the primary Data Services database.
• LAN Port (default 8301). The Primary Data Services system HTTP port.
• IP Address. This is the IP address of the primary Data Services system.

Yubico Authentication

• SSL Port (default 443). The port used for validating YubiKey authentication with Yubico cloud servers.
